Full allocation for Provec Racing’s KB998 Rimini Elite: all units sold
Provec Racing’s exclusive KB998 Rimini Elite has reached full allocation just ten days after its official unveiling on Friday, April 17. All five units of this ultra-limited-edition motorcycle were secured in record time.
The public debut took place during the Dutch WorldSBK round at the TT Assen Circuit, where Provec Racing presented the KB998 Rimini Elite to media and fans. The event was attended by bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team (BbKRT) riders Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani, alongside Team Manager Guim Roda. Enthusiast response exceeded expectations, with immediate expressions of interest leading to the allocation of the final unit within a matter of days.
The KB998 Rimini Elite encapsulates Provec Racing’s WorldSBK expertise, incorporating technical solutions and premium materials directly derived from its on-track experience augmenting the excellent base of the bimota KB998 Rimini. Each of the five units of the KB998 Rimini Elite are being meticulously assembled by BbKRT’s technical staff at the team’s headquarters in Granollers, Catalonia.
Development of the KB998 Rimini Elite included a dedicated testing programme featuring BbKRT development rider Xavi Forés, as well as a wildcard appearance by Tito Rabat in the Spanish Superbike Championship, culminating in a podium finish at the Jerez Circuit. The five owners—based across the Americas, Europe, and Asia—will now experience this unique blend of racing craftsmanship and pure track performance firsthand.
Biel Roda, Marketing Manager of bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team: “Within hours of announcing the KB998 Rimini Elite at the Assen WorldSBK round, we began receiving emails and social media enquiries from interested customers. I would like to thank everyone for their enthusiasm and apologise to those who were ultimately unable to secure a unit. The KB998 Rimini Elite, developed under the leadership of our Technical Manager, Alvar Garriga, together with BbKRT’s technical partners, has been an immediate success among motorcycle enthusiasts and specialist collectors alike. We are extremely pleased with this outcome, and I am confident the five fortunate owners will be as well.”
